We are seeking a sales manager to book events at the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice. This person uses their sparkling personality to sell the brand, source clients, track down leads like no one else, and can close the deal every time. They are driven, tenacious, and have no fear doing a cold call, networking or representing the brand at any social gathering. In fact, they excel at shaking hands, have a grin ear to ear, and have a “never met a stranger” attitude.

Extraordinary salespeople accept nothing less than being at the top of their game. They know they are the very engine of today’s economy. Sales is not an easy job. It is largely based in potential and there are no guaranteed deals, yet top performing salespeople thrive without guarantees. To them each potential deal is worth the challenge, reach and follow-up. If you are passionate about sales, organized, personable and are hungry to succeed we might just have place for you.

The Crystal Ballroom is a 1913 ballroom located in the heart of downtown Houston’s historic Rice Hotel. Originally the capitol of the Republic of Texas, this is one of Houston's most unique and historic landmarks. The ballroom is 5000 square feet, has magnificent 35-foot ceilings, spectacular murals, chandeliers, mahogany doors, with a stunning patio overlooking downtown. It’s the best place in town to have a wedding, corporate event or charity gala.
